Yes, since MyTreesApp is a cloud-based application, an internet connection is required to sync data and access stored information.

MyTreesApp is a subscription-based service available on a monthly or annual plan at a discounted price. Once your trial period ends, you can subscribe directly through your app store.

You can use MyTreesApp on both web and mobile, but simultaneous access on multiple mobile devices may not be supported.

You can cancel your subscription through your app store’s subscription settings (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

Yes. MyTreesApp is a powerful and flexible CRM designed for tree care professionals. It allows you to manage Clients and Trees and create a variety of documents, including Quotes, Job Sheets, Proforma Invoices, and standard Invoices (electronic invoices are not supported at the moment).

You can build your workflow in the way that suits you best:

• Open a Client record and choose which document to create.

• Or, begin with a new document and select or add a new client directly within it.

New clients can be added from the Clients section, while creating a new document, or instantly through the “+” shortcut in the app’s bottom menu.

Quotes are highly versatile. You can edit or delete them at any time, and also mark them as accepted to keep track of client approvals. You can also:

• Convert them into Job Sheets or other documents by selecting the quote and choosing “Generate Job Sheet”.
• Or, creating any document, use the “Create from Quote” option.
• Use the “Create Similar” feature to quickly generate new quotes for a different client based on existing quotes.

All documents can be instantly generated as PDFs and shared through email, WhatsApp, or any other preferred method.

Yes. The Quote form comes pre-filled with the most common services in the Tree Care Industry. If you don’t offer a particular service – for example, stump grinding – you can simply hide it in your Services list. To do this, open Settings from the top-right icon and choose which sections you want displayed in your quotes.

You can further customize your quotes by:

• Using the “Add Item” tool within any section to include unlisted items in a specific quote.
• Creating entirely new sections with the “Add Service” feature (e.g., Hedge Pruning or Tree Planting) and saving them for future use.

This flexibility allows you to build a personalized quote form tailored to your services and create new quotes in just minutes.

The “My Data” section (bottom-right icon) allows you to enter your personal or company information, which will automatically appear in the headings of all documents you create. You can also upload your company logo and choose whether to display it in generated documents.

In addition, you can:

• Add your bank details and decide for each document whether to include them.
• Create a default footnote (e.g., “Jobs carried out with the highest safety standards”), which can be used, edited, or replaced in each quote or document.
• Use the share icon (top-right) to instantly send your data via WhatsApp, email, or other channels.

All information can be updated at any time, and changes are saved instantly with the “Save My Data” button at the bottom of the page.

Yes. In the Trees section, you can list and track important trees, including their general data and an image gallery. For each listed tree, you can create a Detailed Inspection using the app’s comprehensive pre-filled form, which covers all the common questions addressed during a tree inspection. This feature is ideal for recording specific issues, keeping structured notes, or supporting professionals conducting a Visual Tree Assessment (VTA).

Yes. MyTreesApp provides unlimited cloud storage for attaching photos and documents related to your tree work.

• Trees, Quotes, and Jobs can each have their own image galleries, and up to four images can be included in the generated PDF documents.
• You can also upload and store external documents – such as permits, reports, or evaluations – directly in Client and Tree profiles for quick and organized access.

Once you’ve entered a client’s details, the three icons at the top-right of the page allow you to:

1. Call the client directly by connecting to your phone.
2. Open the client’s address in your default Maps app.
3. Share the client’s details via WhatsApp, email, or other methods.

If you add a note (e.g., “Big yellow house”), it will be included when sharing the client’s details. Private notes (e.g., “Always asks for a discount”), however, remain visible only within your app and are never shared.

The My Gear section helps you track and manage your gear and safety equipment, ensuring compliance with maintenance and inspection requirements. You can:

• List all equipment in one place.
• Create an inspection sheet.
• Digitally add the inspector’s signature for proper validation.
• Review past inspections with notes and details.
• Schedule future inspections to remain compliant with safety and maintenance deadlines.

In this way, your equipment remains organized, properly documented, and always ready for use.

The Log Weight Calculator provides an estimate of the mass of a single log of green wood that needs to be cut or transported. To use it:

1. Select the tree species from the dropdown menu.
2. Enter the log’s approximate length and average diameter.
3. Click “Calculate” to see the estimated weight.

Please note that the moisture content and thus the weight of green wood can vary significantly due to a variety of factors. As a result, the calculation should be considered a rough estimate, not an exact measurement.

The Arboriculture section contains around 75 pages providing an overview of tree survey methods and key topics related to tree inspections and tree care.

With its concise descriptions and illustrative images, it serves as a quick reference guide for numerous issues such as buttress roots, included bark, reaction wood, pruning wounds, and many more.

In recent years, the tree climbing industry has seen a surge of new tools and techniques. MyTreesApp is designed to support formal training and provide, especially for newcomers, a comprehensive overview of the gear, knots, and techniques used in tree climbing.

The section includes not only images, but also over 100 videos and animations demonstrating climbing systems, rigging techniques, basic knots, and friction hitches.
